Things To Do - While You're Waiting... FLASH!
September 14th 2007 04:33
Waiting for alpacas to unpack is like watching paint dry, or the old proverbial kettle. You can't do anything to hurry things up, so you just gotta be patient.
I've been doing a multimedia course which requires learning Flash, something super fun to do while I wait for my girls to produce their beautiful babies for me.
Flash is a bit challenging to learn, but it keeps you thinking, which is a good thing. Must say though, it's a ton easier than that 3DS MAX monster (which is also part of the multimedia course). Tell you what! If you want a mountain to climb, LEARN THAT!
Anyway, here's one of my efforts... Absolutely nothing to do with alpacas. I can't draw to save myself so I'd hate to think what an alpaca from my hand would look like - so let's start simple. This fellow's name is Percival and he's having a rather unfortunate time.
It has sound effects, so best to turn that right down if you're at work or something.

I like Flash. I'm starting to get my head around it.
Alpacas are very curious animals. They always come up and just look at you. I offten wonder what they're thinking. Cheers

Still waiting, waiting, for this baby.
They can go over 12 months, these critters, but 342 days is the average. Ours normally go round about that, so I'd say another week and a bit to go.
Will definitely be on here when it happens.

I've just discovered your delightful blog and had the pleasure of this rare and delightful treat... *chuckle* I hope your diploma score was equivalent to the excellent job you did of making it a 'safe' and amusing cartoon *chortle, snort* Bravo!
As for pakka's : OMG they are one of my absolute favourite creatures on God's earth... I adore them. I'm going to wander back through your posts and promise that if you keep putting up pictures of them, I will be here every day.../seriously/ it's a really long story, but if I ever get back out on a property, I have promised myself a little herd of pakka's...

I've only just started blogging, but hoping that I can share a bit about alpacas with people, and improve my writing skills at the same time.
Alpacas are lovely animals to have around. They are easy to care for and are all individuals.
I love living on a few acres in the country and couldn't imagine living in a city anymore.
