Paddock Hair Styles 1-3
September 24th 2007 02:15
All my alpacas are individuals. They each have their own personality likes, dislikes and hair style.
Fiona is one of those “If I can’t see you, then you can’t see me” types, common amongst teenagers still finding their way in the world.
Lucky is an “out there” sort of girl with confidence and individuality. She likes to be noticed with lots of colour and teased styling.
Capriccio considers himself a bit of a lady’s man. He likes to stand at the fence and charm the girls with his charisma and sports an “over one eye” hair style.

Are you sure Fiona is a 'she' with all that facial fluff?
Lucky looks so loveable - I really dig the polka dot nose!
Cappricio defintely looks like a ladies man, he's got a bit of a Hugh Grant fop happening!
Gorgeous animals, the lot of them!
I think I am developing a bit of an Alpaca fascination.......

Pretty sure Fiona's a she, though she hasn't produced any babies yet, so maybe she's not even sure herself.
They'll all be getting a shave in a few weeks once it's a little bit warmer. Cheers.

Thanks for dropping by.. I'll have some more paca hair do's in a couple of days.
They are cute. Maybe I should go into the stuffed toy paca business. Shame I can't sew. Cheers.

Lucky's gone to live about 250kms away, so she won't get to be charmed by Cappy, unless she comes back sometime for - um - servicing.
Cappy's currently spending his days eyeballing Fantasia (little Marco's mum) over the fence. He knows she's now available.

Oh that is sad in a way. Are Alpacca's like dogs in their loyalties or more like goats and sheep?
...any pics of her (Fantasia)?

I don't think alpacas get attached to people like dogs do, mine don't anyway.
They recognise you and form an opinion. Some give the impression that they like you (whether that's just put on so you'll give them treats, I'm not sure). Other pacas don't care much for humans at all and they more or less just tolerate you.
I'm still sad every time one goes away though. I'd like to keep them all, but you need to be sensible about the number you can care for properly.
