Just a few happy snaps for you today. Here’s Donald (D’Entrecasteaux).
Donald's coming up to 6 months of age. It’s hard to get a photo of him with his ears up, he usually flattens them as soon as he sees the camera pointed at him. He's a stunner though, a very handsome boy.
Emily’s also coming up to 6 months. She's still not as forward as her mum, Alice, but she’s getting there. I can sneak in a little pat without her running away now. Emily watches what's going on very carefully, so I make sure I give her mum lots of cuddles. Hopefully Emily will grow up to trust me too.
Pretty Holly is the same age as Donald and Emily. 6 months old. Holly finds her way into just about every photo, always sniffing the camera, or checking out your clothes. She’s still a bit wary of people though and will run away if you move suddenly. Holly often seams to have a dreamy, wistful look on her face.
We’re getting some rain here today, which is very welcome. The forecast from the bureau is “A few showers, falling as snow about the mountain, mostly clearing tonight. Fresh and gusty southwest winds, easing this evening”. Max 11° C. Brrrrr!
Glad the alpacas have nice warm fleeces to keep them warm.

I went to the markets the other day, saw some jumpers etc made with Alpaca wool, so soft, just as you say. So light and looked so warm even tho they were very fine.
