Animal Angels - Music for Meditation and Relaxation
May 12th 2008 05:40
I bought this CD a while back and really like it. It's a music CD from the Mind, Body & Soul series. I'm building quite a collection of these kinds of things, but this is one I've happily got my money's worth from.
Whether you're into meditation, want calming background music for your business, or simply like to relax (with, or without your animals), this Animal Angels CD is lovely.
It contains seven tracks, totalling 60 minutes of peaceful music composed by Steven Jones. For those of you open minded enough, it also includes a guide to Animal Angels written by Margrit Coates.
You can buy the CD from Amazon.com. You can listen to samples of the tracks on Amazon before you buy it, so you will know if it’s for you.
You can download the individual tracks as MP3’s from Amazon too, if you prefer.
I like to put the CD on to spend some quality time with my dachies. Sometimes I fall asleep though, so I'm not sure how much is really quality time, but the dachies usually just sleep as well, so I don't think they mind.
I haven’t tried it out on the alpacas, but probably would if I thought one was getting stressed out.
When I’ve got a lot of work on, I find myself working through the whole day (sometimes into the night too), often with just a few minutes here and there to grab food and COFFEE.
I've noticed it is beneficial to slot a meditation time into my schedule and put this CD on. I sometimes play just one or two tracks. When they finish playing, I go back to work. I’m always more productive then, even with just a 20 minute break.
I also have some guided meditations, which don't have music behind them. I like to play this cd behind the spoken meditations - a typical multi-tasker - always has to be a dozen things going on at once!
This CD would make a lovely gift for any animal lover and their animals, particularly if they're a bit stressed and need some time out.

Think of this one next time you come across an animal person or even just someone who needs to chill out a bit.

Will you be playing this one to the pacas in their brand new shed? Or maybe to M & B curled up on your bed.

More sleep than meditation here, but I'm working on it. Cheers.
